Canadian orders are sent via Canada Post.
All orders outside of Canada are sent via the United States Postal Service. Once your order is sent, you can log into your account and retrieve a tracking number, which can be tracked at USPS.com.
We have also added the option for Media Mail to the USA. It is only for CDs, DVDs, and vinyl. No tshirts, clothing or other non-media items can be shipped this way and we will contact you for a new shipping method if your order contains these. It is a slower service, but still has a tracking number and is significantly cheaper.
Shipping costs are shown during the checkout process and are also viewable using Estimate Shipping on the Shopping Cart page. Toronto-based customers (or customers visiting Toronto) have the option of picking up their order from our Toronto office to save on shipping costs. Please see the Contact page for our address.
We generally ship twice a week with the exception of Canadian public holidays.
We take great care and caution to make sure your order is correct and packed well to avoid damage. Please report any damaged or lost goods immediately using the Contact page. Once we know about your damaged or lost order, we will initiate a case with Canada Post. Please note that a case can take up to eight weeks to resolve and this is more or less out of our control. We will, however, keep you informed throughout the process.
Our shipping methods to Europe has recently changed.
- FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL
We now ship all international orders, including European orders, from the United States using USPS. All packages have a tracking number. If you don'tsee your tracking number in your account, please contact us to request one. These should arrive in 7-15 days.
We are now offering shipments by the amazing courier TNT. These are sent Express, 2-3 day shipping. The service is excellent, and the tracking information is very accurate. However, it is IMPORTANT to note that someone must be PRESENT at the shipping address to receive the package. There will also more likely be customs charges starting at approximately $15 in your country's currency for the customs clearance plus any possible duties.
**For most countries, TNT will STILL be cheaper even after these customs charges are paid upon delivery!
**Some of our TNT and international shipping areas are still under construction, so you may be contacted if any charges vary significantly.
We offer exchanges only on manufacturers' defects within 30 days of receiving your product. We sell only new items, even though some items are not shrink-wrapped, especially some imports. We offer no exchange on clothing, vinyl, magazines, or any items bought from our Clearance section. The cost of shipping a product back to us is the customer's responsibility.
We have no control over any customs or duty charges your country levies. And, seriously c'mon guys (!!), we cannot falsely declare your package as a gift or declare its value at less than what it is really worth.
Generally, if a title does not have a currenty inventory count, it either means we have plenty of them or we are able to get them very quickly
If the item you ordered was currently in stock (the inventory count had a number in stock), we will ship this to you within 1-4 business days, depending on our weekly shipping schedule.
If an item is available for pre-order, a message indicating so will be displayed on the product's detail page, along with the date it is expected to be in stock. Please note that these dates are estimates only.
If you have ordered multiple items in the same order as a pre-order title, and the shipping cost paid will not cover multiple shipments, we will wait until the pre-ordered title(s) come in stock before shipping all the items. This is especially true for VINYL, because of the heavy weight and bulk, so shipping one at a time is not possible with one shipping charge.
For customers in the USA, the shipping costs are much cheaper, so it may be possible to send mutliple shipments of items as they arrive. We do this on a case by case basis and ship where we can.
For international customers, it is more difficult, and so we will wait until everything is in stock.
If you wish to not have all of your items wait for the pre-ordered item(s) to come in later, please contact us and we will make arrangements for multiple packages and possible additional shipping charges.
If you have made multiple orders and would like to combine your shipments into one single shipment to save shipping costs, and don't mind waiting for everything to be in stock before we ship, please contact us and we will calculate the costs of one shipment and send you a refund or credit for the difference from the multiple shipping costs you've paid.
