In 2006 the Machineries of Joy label released the "Hymns of Steel" sampler displaying a wide array of new and established bands. The follow-up to this sampler is called "Hymns Of Sex". This time the compilers decided to immerses the listener into a sleazy world, loaded with "SM and slavery, pain and perversity, seedy fantasies and pornography. "Hymns of Sex" presents a set of 19 bands from the USA over Portugal to Norway offering you a glimpse into their wildest, most sexual fantasies and 'aural' excesses as the label puts it. The compilation hols actually quite a strong line-up with such bands as Kan Kino, Leaether Strip, Ionic Vision, Millimetric , The Horrorist, Plastic Noise Experience and even a mix by Ionic Vision of the Armageddon Dildos track "Big Tits", need we say more?" - Side Line.
