Agent Side Grinder. Industrial Beauty.

Since their very first release, an untitled 7" single in year 2007 on the Dutch 'Enfant Terrible' label, reactions on this Swedish band have been overwhelmingly positive. Agent Side Grinder plays real industrial music in the style of Cabaret Voltaire, mixed with some proto-punk in the Suicide-style, fused with the energy of early EBM reminiscent of The Klinik and topped with psyche- delic touches that can be traced back to The Doors. The result is an unique, contemporary and fresh sound that will appeal to fans of industrial, elektro, old style EBM and krautrock alike. Also Agent Side Grinde has already proven to be a great live band, with only analogue equipement on stage. The Swedish band Agent Side Grinder is certainly (one of) the most interesting 80’s influenced contemporary bands! When most of the ‘post punk revival bands’ more or less copy and paste the godfather’s songs, ASG reflect the roots and spirit of the early 80’s with their very own personal style, mixing early industrial and EBM with post punk, No Wave and Krautrock – a sort of JOY DIVISION meets SUICIDE meets CABARET VOLTAIRE meets DAF…a must!
