It has been over four years since the Scary Bitches released their last album “Creepy Crawlies.” Since that time they have been playing all over Europe,including St.Petersburgh Russia, WGT Leipzig and too may other German gigs to mention, several bookings in Italy, Berne in Switzerland, Paris, Waregem in Belgium, Rotterdam, Vilnius Lithuania, Warsaw in Poland and two appearances at both the Carival of Souls and Gotham in the UK. This year marks a return by popular demand to both WGT Leipzig and Waregem. Their gig list for this year also extends as far as Mexico. 2009 marks the tenth anniversary of the formation of the band, and they also intend to play some bookings at several smaller venues in the UK to return to their roots. Their very first recordings were only home
recording quality, and have never been officially released, so following numerous requests to hear some of this material, the band have re-recorded four tracks to include on this album. Some of their songs might make you laugh, but they insist that they are not a comedy band. They just write about the weird and unpleasant side of life and death. People like to categorise music, and as such they have been called Goth, Deathrock, Batcave, and Post Punk. They just call themselves “the Scary Bitches.” Three women against the World.
