Scarlet Soho is
a British duo with an atypical lineup: Musician Jim also provides
the vocals for Scarlet Soho, while his female counterpart Scarlet runs
the synths and the bass in the background. Since 2000, the two artists have been
working together, growing into a successful live act, e.g.
when supporting IAMX recently. In 2004, they snatched their first record
deal in England and released their debut album “Devisions Of Decency”.
As sources
of inspiration for their rough mixture of electro
and rock they name contemporaries such as the Sneaker Pimps
or Interpol, but also pioneers like Magazine. Major Records now releases
the long-awaited new album “Warpaint”. Released on Major and available
April 23rd, 2009.
