For
some it was one of those reunion shows that they would not even hope to wish
for. Industrial Electronic/EBM Pioneers Click Click, consisting of Brothers
Adrian (Vocals, Synths, Harmonica) and Derek Smith (Drums, Percussion) played
two well-attended German shows in Bochum and Berlin. The biggest surprise
however, was the quality of the shows. The band played updated and upgraded
versions of their old Singles "Skripglow", "Red" and obviously their classic
"Sweet Stuff" and proved that not
every re-union had to be a letdown. "It was like they
were never gone", and "The athmosphere was simply amazing" were two out of dozens
enthusiastic feedbacks from fans arriving on the Myspace site of the Vintage
Electronics festival, who hosted them as headliners. And that is
not all of it: Not only does
the
band plan
more shows in 2009, they also just digitally released their sought-after first EP "Party Hate" in
a remastered version with two unreleased Bonustracks. Released on
Dependent.
