A Blutengel-concert is always an
extraordinary and highly special affair – with its dark atmosphere, the
theatrical performance and the energy and spirit that the catchy Gothic-tunes
evoke in an audience, resulting in them collectively going crazy over the music.
A Blutengel-concert is like an audiovisual experience in cinemascope. It was,
thus, rather obvious that a documentation of Blutengel’s “Labyrinth”-tour would
have to be on DVD. And, as every shows unfolds a highly unique atmosphere of its
own in the combination of the band’s performance at a given evening, the
location and the local crowd, the band decided to use material from not just one
but from four shows for creating this new concert film. Thus, “Moments of Our
LIVEs” not only makes you relive a show from that tour… it also documents the
“tour feeling” in conveying the atmosphere of the places where the songs were
recorded. It goes without saying that the set list includes all of Blutengel’s
big hits, such as “Seelenschmerz” and “Lucifer”, to name but a few, plus
energetic live performances of some of the group’s most wanted rarities:
“Vampire Romance” and “Black Roses.” But there is much more than just the song
selection that will please the fans: the set includes a second DVD with loads of
exclusive material, behind the scenes shots (backstage videos, sound check
recordings, blooper-reel, Blutengel interviewing fans), video clips and much
more. Those craving for even more will also have a choice of two limited
editions. Both will include the double DVD plus an exclusive live CD and a
splendidly designed 20-page-booklet, all packed in a beautiful Digipak. The
ultra-limited FanBox will furthermore include an exclusive t-shirt (only
available as part of the box set) and will come in a deluxe packaging. For the
fans, “Moments of Our LIVEs” is a definitive must-have, but, for all those
novices to the
band, this package is also an ideal introduction into the
phenomenon of
Blutengel, because they have to be experienced rather than just listened to.
