The Hamburg based band YUNO find their own unique sound between New Wave,
Indiepop and Disco elements. They count on strong melodic songwriting with
catchy hooks and danceable rhythms. Yuno have a classic lineup (Guitar,Drums,Vocals)
with 2 keyboards /synth players, which make them sound different and give them a
very strong live sound. With playing a lot of shows they have built up a strong
following in their native country Germany already. Their concept is „handmade
Pop with synthesizers“ as YUNO don`t use backing tapes or sequencers on stage at
all. Everything is played by hand! They took their name from the legendary
Roland synthesizer Yuno which is a collector item nowadays. Released on Major
Records and available July 10th, 2007.
