Here comes the electronical strike from France, out of the city of Marseille.
"You wouldn`t expect a french band to sound like this" many people told me in
the last 2 weeks- well, I would!
CELLULOIDE are: Member U-0176, Patrick Holdwem and the wonderful singer Darkleti
who gives Celluloide their unique sound with her dark,sensual voice.Celluloide
work entirely analogue with vintage equipment as old as themselves to create the
sound of tomorrow with a strong 80`s influence. Words once said” is already
their second album.The first one “Naive Heart”was highly recommended by
magazines like Sideline and many others and put on the same level as artists
like Ladytron and Miss Kittin.In France, the band release their albums through
their own label BoredomProduct and has cult status in the french elektroscene.
The album contains 12 brandnew tracks as well as 4 Remixes of recent tracks,
remixed by artists such as Boytronic, No Comment and Sista Mannen PaJorden (ex
S.P.O.C.K.)
Also you`ll hear a german!! sung version of french track “Syncronise” entitled “Synchronisiert”.
