Long awaited follow-up to The White Beyond. This fourth album, released May 23rd on Dancing Ferret Discs, is another emotional tour de force. The lyrics are as well-written as ever, sincere and honest, but avoiding cliches. Musically the band still weaves a masterful blend of new wave, goth and electropop, with some elements of modern rock that should appeal to fans of The Faint or The Killers. As with the last album, there are some definite club hits on Land Dispute, as well as some more introspective cuts and ballads. A very strong release.
