Another seminal album was Green is the Sea, once more heavily influenced by the landscape and history of their rural home Worcestershire - an influence that has remained throughout their entire existence to this day. This (and the previous Farewell to the Shade) album marked a first peak of their career and introduced them to transatlantic audiences for the first time via a highly successful US-Tour.
